Costa Rica

Costa Rica is a small Central American country with an area of only 55 000 square kilometers. It borders the countries of Nicaragua and Panama and the Pacific and Atlantic oceans.

Though their territory is small has microclimates that make the country they are from dry and warm to wet and cold. It has only two seasons, the rainy season which runs from February to November and the dry season from December to January.

The official currency is the colon although the U.S. dollar is well accepted in most places. Its official language is Spanish, although in the area of the English speaking Caribbean.

It is a democratic state where every four years the people elect their rulers. There is no army and is why it is very known worldwide.

Now considered the country number 7 on global security and one of the most sought after by tourism.
