At least 10 people were arrested by the Special Fraud Unit of the Public Prosecutor in conjunction with agents of the Judicial Investigation Agency (OIJ) to offer vacation packages misleading.

The companies were raided Tourism Links International SA, Inmobiliaria Access Coastal Vacations International SA, Bersa Corporation International and Immediate Solutions Group SA, Chains Cadetur Tourism Development SA, Costa Rica Active Paradise. SA Tourism Links CLC Vacation and Vacation Services SA Servivac

All detainees are suspected of the crimes of fraud, mismanagement, conspiracy and forgery, among others.
